~ Slow and Good ~

In the South, everyone moves a little slower. And when it comes to BBQ, Southerners don't rush things either.

Crossroads BBQ has brought this good ole' Southern craft to Michigan. Our menu of slow-cooked meats includes traditional items like smoked brisket, ribs, rib tips, hand-pulled pork and chicken wings. We also offer non-traditional options, like spicy Andouille sausage, wild boar sausage and crispy pork rinds.

Following the Southern way, Crossroads BBQ doesn't smother its meats in tons of sauce. We leave that decision up to you, with a variety of sweet, tangy, smokey and spicy sauces available. And if you prefer no sauce at all, well that's fine, too!

To enhance your BBQ experience, we suggest one of our Southern-style sides. Our menu includes our popular white cheddar mac-n-cheese, candied sweet taters, crispy seasoned fries, honey corn cake and red beans & rice, just to name a few.

And of course, don't forget the tater salad and cole slaw! We offer a loaded baked tater salad or a mustard tater salad. We also make three kinds of lip-smackin' slaw: creamy, dirty (with red cabbage, horseradish & bourbon) and loud (with jalapenos & Sriracha).

Because it takes hours to slow-cook our meats, some items may sell out by closing time. So if you've got a hankerin' for a particular meat, you may want to call ahead and check the availability.

Are you hungry yet?

Slow-Cooked Meats.

Crossroads BBQ opened its doors in September 2015 and is co-owned by Lee P. Burmeister, a Grand Ledge native and award-winning pitmaster.

In March 2015, Lee participated in a Georgia Barbecue Association competition, earning the title of “Grand Champion” in three categories: ribs, tenderloin and pulled pork.

Lee lets his BBQ speak for itself. According to Lee, "If you want to know how good the food is, look at what people say."

Lee takes pride in offering customers a Southern-style craft BBQ experience.  The Crossroads BBQ menu includes a variety of meats, slow-cooked to perfection each day, as well as numerous hot and cold side dishes.

Customers can either dine-in or carry-out their Crossroads BBQ. Free parking is available in the front and rear of the restaurant. Crossroads BBQ also caters special events, from small gatherings to hundreds of people.

Crossroads BBQ is proud to be located in the heart of downtown Grand Ledge. We thank the  community for its support.
